Class C

In Year 2 we have been finding out about Joseph and his amazing coat. We linked it with our art wok on textiles and made a patchwork coat suing pieces of felt. Each child sewed four pieces together and then we put it all together in the shape of a coat.

Each child designed and made their own coat for Joseph. They use Dazzle on the computer to design their coats and made them symmetrical. They then transferred the design onto their coats. They made them bright and colourful.

We have also been practising our drawing techniques. We carefully use oil pastilles to draw a vase of lilies. The children were very careful and produced some lovely work.

As part of literacy and science Class have made non-fiction books about frogs. They have learned about the life cycle and their habitats and food.
